In this post, I will share with you ways to bring in extra income so you no longer have to live paycheck to paycheck, get closer to financial freedom, or be able to afford the type of lifestyle that you dream to have.

According to an American Psychology Association survey, money causes significant levels of stress to Americans.

I know first hand about having to live a modest lifestyle to be able to make ends meet, I’ve been there.

I can also tell you that I came out of that cycle of living without much money in my bank account and today can afford the things that are important to me in life.

I’m not saying that I live a jet-set lifestyle, what I’m saying is that through hard work and dedication, I was able to break the low-income cycle and get into a position where I earn money from various sources of extra income.

What is a service business?

It’s pretty much any type of service that you can render for a fee.

If you are good at cooking, baking, creating things, you’re a handy person, you can coach, you can teach, well perhaps you may want to provide your services to your friends, family, or your network for a fee.

You can start by simply defining what type of service you want to offer, come up with a price, and start emailing your network, go on social media, and spread the word.

At first, you may only get one or two small gigs but if you provide a great service, word-of-mouth will start working in your favor and people will start spreading the word.

You don’t need a lot of money to get started but you’ll need to put in some time and effort marketing yourself and finding clients.

If you’re able to write awesome outreach emails, you may be potentially on your way to success!

Invest In Real Estate

An amazing extra income source is rental income from real estate investments. 

One of my favorite ways to make additional cash is to earn rental income passively through the investment in real estate properties like condos, small properties, single-family homes, multiplexes, and more.

Granted, this idea for extra income can be costly to start.

You’ll need to have the ability to put the initial cash down payment to purchase a real estate property and you will need to have a good credit score to be accepted by the bank for a mortgage.

If you don’t have that cash resources, you don’t have to start big.

Start with a small property or a condo that you can afford and eventually move into bigger investments.

Real estate investments have made fortunes for many.

There is no doubt that if you are investing for a long time horizon, real estate should absolutely be an investment to consider for extra income streams!

Is there something that you know how to do or knowledge that you have that you’d want to share and make money?

If so, think about creating an online course!

Making an online course and selling it to those interested to learn (and pay) is a great way to complement your income.

Are you good at programming, are you good at blogging, digital marketing, SEO, building websites, content marketing, know investment secrets, have experience in real estate investments, you name it, you can create an online course to teach what you know.

There are many out there that have started selling online courses and eventually realized that it was so profitable that they’ve dedicated their full-time efforts to it.

You can either sell your online courses on your own website or you can sell them on Udemy or similar websites.

It takes time to think about the course, put together the content, prepare the course video, and so on, but when it’s up and running, then you’ll be earning a nice passive income.
